When you move address, either your home or business, you can use the Post Office Redirection Service to make sure your post follows you, whether you’re only moving for a short time or for good.

You can choose to redirect for one, three, six or twelve months and at the end of that time, you can renew again for up to two years. Your post can be redirected from any UK address to any address in the UK or overseas, including British Forces and PO Box addresses.

Prices currently start at £7.65 for redirection to a UK address for one month. With a quick set-up time and available for up to two years it’s very easy to arrange.

If you’re moving from your home address to a new address, click here to get your application form from the Royal Mail web site as a PDF or, just pick up a ‘Moving home?’ Redirection application form at your nearest Post Office™, fill it in and post it to the address on the application form.

You can also ring your local Customer Service Centre on 0845 7740 740 and they’ll post you a form.

Please note that when applying for a post redirection you’ll need some forms of identification for security reasons.

Before your Redirection expires Royal Mail will write to remind you. Renewing your post redirection is easy. You can renew online, by post or over the phone.
